Swedish House Mafia Returns with New Hit Single, “It Gets Better”
On July 14th, Legendary EDM trio Swedish House Mafia released their first new music in almost a decade – ‘It Gets Better’. This release is the start of what we are expecting to be a lot of new releases from the group as they told Zane Lowe in an interview, it is “the start” of a new reunion spurred by the pandemic.
Steve Angelo said on this, “We had some time together now and during the pandemic… The only positive thing about the pandemic was we got the year. So [we] just went in there and just dove and discovered and tweaked the synths. And we have something that we love and we feel is super unique and especially unique to us and something that we stand for. All this new music is amazing.”
SHM began teasing cryptic footage earlier this year hinting at the new release and a poster was spotted in Melbourne a week before the release hinting that something might be coming. Well, it did, and the fan theories we confirmed!
Sebastian Ingrosso said: “We missed each other. First of all, we missed each other, then we missed the fans and we wanted to hang out together. And now we have the best two years together. We have done amazing things together, but this is like we made a baby together. You know what I mean? Finally.”
